This worked for my obscure Borg Warner faucet.
According to paperwork left by the previous owner, my valve body is a Borg Warner 7310-1 or 7410-1. I have not been able to find cross reference information fro this faucet anywhere. Many years ago the guys at a supply shop told me the stems looked like Central Brass. This agreed with a number stamped on the stems. So the faucet may well be made by Central, but it isn't an exact match for any of their common stuff either. After a long time scouting through Kissler cross references, I concluded that this kit would probably work. The picture shows my old "Borg Warner" stems and the new stems from this kit, Kissler RBK1821. it is clear that they are not identical - the gasket areas lack the large flat areas of the originals, and without the external threads the old style escucheons cannot attach to these stems. However, the valve seats and stems installed into the valve body without any problems. And, of course the new escutcheons attach to the new stems.

Perfect Central Rebuild Kit
Exact match to Central. With this kit it's just a simple remove and replace. No modifications. Everything is included. Turning these faucets now is like turning the knobs on an expensive stereo. So easy to make the slightest adjustment to temperature. Makes showering fun again. Not sure if this is the correct Central kit for you? Check the seats. If your seats are the shorter ones that come out with a hex key then this kit is the right one. One warning though, this kit has no brand stamp anywhere. Not like the original that has the name stamped on the handles. So be sure to keep record of the brand "Central" not the brand that makes this kit or in 20 years when you need to replace again you might be up a creek without a paddle.

Replaces Central Brass Model No. 0858 Bath Filler
Pink/mint tiled bath with pink sink and throne circa 1958. I replaced the three handle valve stems and handles about yen years ago after buying the house as a second owner. With a little detective work, I was able to find the Central Brass version Model No. 0858, Bath Filler but only online. Now, ten years later, that Central Brass resource had vanished and it took more research to find a replacement. Luckily I found this kit! This Kissler RBK1821 rebuild kit for Central Brass faucet is a perfect fit. To restate, if you have a history of using a Central Brass Model 0858 then this Kissler RBK1821 is it's viable replacement. Thanks Kissler!

Are these the Droids you're looking for? There are two different sized Sets!!!
It's a wonderful product, but I had to buy BOTH sized sets because the listings did not give specifications in enough detail to tell which one I needed. Here's a trick to save your life. Look at the picture of the seats - the smaller ones (older but they look the same size in the photographs) are a threaded pipe that takes an allen wrench and have a very short round collar. The larger ones have more of a tube collar. That was my only clue. So, Amazon... Include the THREAD PITCH and DIAMETERS for other customers, Please?

Perfect replacement
This kit replaced my Central Brass shower and tub hot, cold, and diverter valves.Check on line videos for help. You need a 7/8" socket or spark plug wrench and 1/4" hex wrench to remove the main valve stem and stem core.Make sure you shut off the water supply to the shower/tub!Depending on how much corrosion you have from hard water deposits, removing some parts can be difficult.

A missing piece
This is a great replacement kit but, there was a piece missing from the tub diverter valve. The back seal on the valve stem stem was missing so that when you turn on the shower, most of the water still came out of the spout. I was able to take the seal off from the old tub diverter so that I was able to use it. I am going to contact Amazon to see if they can send me the missing part. âšī¸

Exactly what I was looking for
This rebuild kit allowed me to fix a Central Brass shower faucet set that was installed30 - 40 years ago. I could not find parts for it anywhere locally, but this is exactly it!! I'm glad they still make these parts!!
