As Described!! Black Magnets for Metal Surfaces
Pros: These are slightly thicker than the .3 versions and I find them sturdier and yet still easy to slide one over to separate from the pack provided you do it with the plastic divider at the same time. I use them to attach a screen to my apartment black metal storm door that has a deadbolt lock meant to keep intruders out and it does a good job of that. However, its' scroll design does nothing to keep flies, gnats, or spiders from entering so I purchased a screen netting and attached it with these magnets every few inches. It works well enough but because the storm door itself doesn't fit snugly on the top or bottom threshold it's not foolproof. Sure does help a lot though, especially whenever I'm cooking in the summer and must leave the front door open for fresh air! I'm willing to pay more for the black ones because it looks a lot better when everything matches or blends in with the decor. Con: These last better than the plain steel versions, but rust will still eat any finish that's painted on magnets in about a year where I live. It's the salt air and constant moisture that comes in off the ocean that is hard on both cars, metal outdoor furniture and that's just the way coastal weather is, not the fault of the products. Aluminum and stainless steel do better, but are also more expensive so you have to decide what you think is best for your situation. They are exactly as described, adhere well to most things, and although they come with an adhesive strip for when you don't have metal to attach them, I've never used them for that purpose. Can't comment on it because I rent and we're not allowed to damage the wall with adhesives or nails. Caution: Not for people that have pacemakers because it may interfere with the safe operation of them. I have no idea how strong magnets are that affect pacemakers, but it would be helpful if the seller and/or manufacturers could comment on that.

Excellent Size and Finish, Very Strong. A Great Value
These LOVIMAG Bar Magnets are perfect for my application. I have company sheet magnet signage on the side of the Jeep that has weak attraction and peels off from the wind at freeway speeds. I use these magnetic bars to attached along the edges of the sheet sign to hold it in place. The narrow bars are perfect to attach on the edge of the sign and do not interfere with the signage. The black epoxy coating blends super well and the magnets are invisible from a few feet away. Most importantly, they hold the sheet sign in place even through a brush card wash! The magnets are probably too strong for my needs but they are very very strong. The epoxy coating was important as I have had other magnets that have rusted. There are not many bar magnets like this that offer epoxy coating. The adhesive pack is precut to fit perfectly on the magnets, and easy to install which is another nice feature of the product.I am very pleased with the quality of the build and the bargain cost.

Brittle
Strong, but very brittle broke a few by two snapping together taking them out of the package.

These sure are strong!!
Quite a fight to get them to detach. Not proving fragile, none broken yet. Neodymium is, I think, the strongest of all magnets, made of the rare earth that China and the US are negotiating right now.

Okay
They are strong, but break easily. They get the job done, but are fragile.

Top notch product
All the reviewers dropping stars for these being fragile must not have done their homework. It's the nature of the beast. Yes, neodymium magnets will crack if not handled properly and, yes, you can get hurt when they slam together. The description here doesn't tell you, but other sites that sell them tell you to slide them, not pry them apart. Bare neodymium magnets are pretty much like glass which is why I only buy, at a minimum, coated magnets which seem a bit more forgiving. Steel clad magnets are even more durable - but still can break if they collide with something. They aren't toys by any stretch of the imagination. Children should NOT be allowed to play with them!Anyway, I bought the coated magnets to hold two large tarps together when I go camping and, for that, they're excellent. The coating keeps them from rusting and doesn't tear into the fabric. I will say it can take a bit of trial and error to find the right strength for your purpose. It's a good idea to pay attention to how many pounds of pull a magnet has. At 33 pounds each, I quickly found out it was a good bit of overkill. Two layers of heat shrink eased the pull enough to where it was just right.

strong magnet
a few of the magnets had some dents in them, and some corners were rounded, so the cutting wasn't very precise. But there magnets are very powerful though.
