A very nice cheese/cutting board. Perfect size, not too large or too heavy. The pattern of the wood is very pretty, has a nice feel to it. Good quality, good price and perfect for what I was looking for.

Beautifully made of what is obviously old and storied olive trees (you can tell from the knots). Not huge (see hand for reference) so don't expect to do a lot of functional day-to-day chopping (though would definitely use as an auxiliary board) and obviously could function as a beautiful cheese board.

Wood is beautiful but craftsman is poor it’s starting to come apart and have only used it a couple of times.

Beautifully made and super sturdy. It's so pretty I just keep it out on the counter all the time! Great size and a perfect replacement to my old plastic cutting board.

The media could not be loaded. I chose the The Bayu Olive Wood Handcrafted Mosaic Pattern Cutting Board because of its uniqueness and beauty, and because it is made from olive wood. The hearty, rugged Olive tree is mentioned often in the bible and it symbolizes righteousness, prosperity, and peace. I cannot think of anything better to have in my kitchen (the heart of the home) then a piece of olive wood.And this olive wood cutting board is BEAUTIFUL! I would consider it to be a work of art that needs to be properly displayed for all to appreciate its beauty and craftsmanship. But at the same time, I can feel the sharp blade of a knife digging into the wood with each slice made. I will keep this cutting board in a place where all can see it, and I will enjoy using it to create meals for my family – maybe. Read on.There is a “flaw” that is very noticeable to me. One of the corner square pieces of the checkerboard pattern, has either separated or wasn't quite filled in during the production process. The separation begins on the front side and extends along the side of the board and onto the back side. I have a few concerns about this:1.) Over time, will this separation end up weakening, so much so that it causes that square to eventually fall off.2.) Where that separation is, the wood is also raised a smidgen higher then the wood next to it (the board is even and smooth everywhere else). Will that unevenness cause the knife to shift or slide? We don’t need any accidents.3.) The most concerning for me is the chance of food getting caught in that separation and causing health issues.I would have given this board 5(+++) stars but I’m taking off a star because of the disappointing separation, my concerns and the unknowns.If you find this review helpful, please remember to click the "helpful" button below. Happy to find this attractive, VERY solid cutting board that we can use for charcuterie and cheese cutting and bread and more! More solid that my previous cutting boards, so that's a plus as well. High quality wood!
