Good quality
I used theses will on a SKB case. It was not as wide as I needed them but I just purchased a spacer to prevent the shell from sliding and it works great !

Perfect
They work great for my Pelican1610 and seem to be just as solid as the originals (which I've had for almost 10 years). It took about 5 minutes to replace the old wheels (for my model, I have to drill a small hole to get the old one out).

Works on 10 year old case
These worked great on a Pelican 1620 case that was over 10 years old.

Perfect Fit
I had an older Pelican case and the wheels disintegrated. I used the case for years transporting equipment for sales and training purposes. The case is still in good condition and worth investment in new wheels. I was not sure how to do the installation. I took the plate off the back and discovered I just had to push the pins out from the outside. That is the only way to get them off. The pins have some splines on the outside edge of the pins. I took a punch and tapped the pins toward the outside edge of the case until the splines were free then pulled the pins out. I replaced the wheels and reset the axles. I will keep an eye on the axles. If they loosen, I will add a bit of glue. Well worth the cost of the wheels. These wheels appear to be better than the original in constuction and should last longer. I don't travel with this case like I used to so I think the wheels will last as long as the case does.

No drilling involved. Well for me.
As you can see for the pictures after installing the wheels which fit perfect. I did not drill any holes to punch out the shaft/ axle. I did use the pliers shown above which are actually crimpers that I had laying around to pull the axles straight out. At first, the crimpers did slip off a couple of times but taking it slow and making sure that I had enough pressure on the crimpers I was easily able to pull them out. Total time was no more than 5 minutes. I highly recommend it. It was a perfect fit for my older 1610.

Product is as advertised, harder to install than I'd like.
TLDR, just save yourself an hour and buy the whole back of the toolbox with the wheels installed so all you need is a screwdriver. This doesn't come with the axles so you have to save those. My toolbox didn't have anything exposed on the axles to pull on. Mine didn't have the clearance to drill out the inside face and punch out the axle, either, so I had to split the wheels in half with an oscillating saw. The first side was easy, slid out by hand with vise grips. On the second side, the bearings had rusted to the axle so I had to dremel some slots and split them apart so I could get the axle out. Feels good, should last me another 20 years.

Works great but may require modification
The 1610 pelican case has a replaceable back with wheels attached to that replaceable backing of the case which means, Some modification and removal of material was needed in order to replace on my 1610 case. If you’re handy it’s not difficult, but these are NOT drop in replacements for the 1610

Replacement wheels for Pelican camera case 1620
These new wheels are far superior to the original ones that came with my case. After many air flights, jeep rides and hauls along bumpy roads and piers, the old wheels had crumbled right off their axles. The case itself has lots of mileage left in it, so this $20 investment has given it another lease on life. Thanks!
