Jessi's Secret Language (The Babysitters Club, book 12) (Baby-Sitters Club Graphix)

Daughter loves the BSC graphic novels, she is fortunate enough to have accrued the whole series, but comes back to this particular title the most often.

I read the baby sitters club as a girl myself, and I enjoyed reading anything I could get my hands on. My daughter is a much more reluctant reader and possibly dyslexic. I decided to try graphic novels for her to see if she would enjoy them, and thankfully she has! We have collected all of this collection of graphic novels so far, and all of the little sister collection so far too. She is 12 and still asks for me to buy the new one each time it comes out!

A sweet and fun book that really highlights the benefits of learning sign language. It is sad to see and know the number of parents who never learn to sign or communicate with their child. It shouldn’t happen. I love the inclusive nature of the story!

My daughter loves it

Easy to read. Teaches empathy and friendships. I like that it even shows the emotional struggle of Matt’s sister.

My daughter has read all the BSC graphic novels twice. They are great, age appropriate books for kids. She loves all the stories and seeing her enjoy reading is awesome.
