Q: Is this safe for my food garden?

The package says it is. I believe this product is mostly spices anyway.

Gillian, I wasn't impressed with this product. I have a puppy that likes to dig. Filled the holes up with topsoil and put this product on top. Didn't stop him. You'd have to order a lot of it to cover your whole yard, but didn't work for me.

Q: Can this product be used on the snow?

The product will provide SOME protection if you apply it on top of snow, but it is far more effective when the granules are dry. If you have a serious dog/cat problem, we would typically recommend waiting until the snow melts before starting applications. Please feel free to contact us directly with follow-up questions.

Q: Will this repellent harm grass?

No, it is basically red pepper powder, so it doesn't hurt plants or grass
