The label states it has turpentine and linseed oil as well as beeswax and other natural oils. Don't know how their claim of "Contains no solvents, chemicals, or driers" plays out with turpentine in the product. That said, I really like this wax. I use it on salt fume fired pottery to add a luster to the pottery. These pieces are marked as not food safe and for decorative use only.

Q: Could this be used on wooden chopping boards?

This product is wonderful in restoring old furniture but it contains turpentine & linseed oil so I would not use it on cutting boards. I have restored my older cutting boards with another product, Clark’s Cutting Board Finish. It’s food-safe and does a beautiful job of being them back to life. I purchased the hand applicator that was recommended which makes it easy to work with. I have used this product on my neglected wooden knife handles as well.

Q: I'm using it on a custom lamp with some epoxy resin. Can it br brushed on or just wiped with a rag? There are a lot of crevises to get into.

Hi. I am assuming that that lamp is wood. Using a rag is fine. You could also use a small brush and then go over it with a rag. It does have a strong order that some might find offensive. I actually liked the smell...which does go away after a short period of time.

Q: How much area would a pint cover if I use 2 coats? Trying to finish wooden stall bars, so roughly 30 square feet of wood

The can reads one gallon would cover 400 - 600 square ft, so a pint would cover 25 - 30 sq ft. I would say 2 pints may cover it twice.
