Is the quality of the game still very poor as per the previous reviews

My copy seems fine too, bought in March 2020.

Does this expansion include the double layer card player boards ?

Sadly no this box does not have the double sided boards- they are only in the kickstarter version. However you can buy the kickstarter version direct from Fryxgames website with the boars and it also include additional cards. If you have the retail version you can buy the player boards and the various promo cards for Terraforming Mars from website - take a look !

Please can you confirm that this is not the collector's edition that has the dual layer player boards and custom trays? As one of the photos suggests
