Q: What is the wattage on this thing? Want to calculate how electricity it will use to run 24 hours.

Not sure exactly but it doesn't use much electric, about the same as a phone charger on slow charge. You don't hear the pump at night but you do hear the water trickling which isn't good if you have a weak bladder in the night.

Q: How do you change the settings

There are no settings to change. You simply turn it on by plugging it in. It’s on when the blue light is on. You change the filter every 2-3 weeks (I find it needs to be changed every 2 weeks). You can either put the “flower” in or no. I don’t use the flower as my kitten will pull it over… she’s a very active kitten. It’s very simple.

Q: Why’s mine so nosiey? it says it’s quiet enough for me and cat to sleep and all I can hear is this thing

if you have the flower on it can trickle also if its low on water its louder. take the flower off that makes a lot of difference. I actually turn mine off at night as the dogs only use it during the day.

Q: how often do you change the water

Once a week I clean but top up every day. Change filter once a month
