TP-Link RE315 AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Wi-Fi Range Extender - Certified (Renewed)

I was first wary about ordering this as I did not understand how easy it would be! I have a home office in a far room and needed good Wi-Fi coverage. Would I like the most about this is that it has the option to add a Fiber Wire if needed very easy to use and link up on my wifi I the refurbished and the appearance came in perfect condition the quality is phenomenal I have found the speed for my internet has picked up using this and the signal strength has improved greatly. Very happy with product

We have a home network printer that was not always showing up on our wireless network. We used this to make a hardwire connection and connected it to our wireless network. Problem solved and works great.

Used to extend Wi-Fi from our house to a shop, used 2 in series, setup is easy enough, Wi-Fi works well. It isn’t perfect, needed to line them up with windows for best effect.

After suffering with poor WiFi performance from my bedroom TV for months, I decided to spring for this little gadget to see if it could accomplish one simple feat: connect to my existing 5GHz WiFi network and provide a LAN connection for the television. I wanted to be able to turn OFF the "extender" function and use the device purely as a WiFi -> LAN bridge, as every other device in the house has zero issue connecting to the existing network.Long story short: mission accomplished. I had the unit set-up, including firmware updates and adjusting settings, in 20 minutes. We have relatively "tame" 150mb fiber at our house and the TV is reporting 21 ms pings while easily maxing out the TV's 10/100 port.For $16.99, it was worth every penny.

This Wi-Fi extender worked well at my church, to amplify the Wi-Fi signal beyond the room where the router and transmitter was located. The Wi-Fi extender was plugged into a wall outlet approximately 60 ft East of the router, and provided signal to a Wi-Fi thermostat on the other side of the wall, approximately 4 ft from the location of the extender.

Thank goodness I made this purchase. My WiFi speed has increased so much! I work remotely sometimes so the quality of this product does the job! It’s easy comparable, you just plug it in and it picks it up in your settings. I love the white finish detail also.

I'm a big TP-Link fan and have many of there products and they work flawlessly. However, these Renewed RE-315 extenders will not connect to the One Mesh network and you can not access them after set up through the Tether app. I have had four of these renew RE-315 models and none of them work.I have even tried working with TP-link support without success. I just bought a brand new RE-315 and did not have any trouble. If I was to guess the Renewed models are outdated and the hardware will not support the newer software controls.Buy a new unit. You will not be disappointed
