I bought this to base models. It was perfect for the task & required little prep work.

I use these for ornaments for my grandchildren. They are thin, but sturdy and smooth surface is perfect for painting on. I put their picture on the back and drill a hole for a ribbon for hanging on the tree. Great size also.

These work great with Cricut- cut well under basswood setting where as others i've used spinter and break.

Nice for crafting but thin.

Does it fits the Cricut? Yes. Is it good for Cricut? Hold it there. If you want to do, say, a simple thing like a circle, square, etc. or something not too elaborated, you might be ok. But I tried to cut my wife’s name on cursive letters and my signature, and they both came broken. If you have NEVER cut wood on a Cricut Maker, you need 3 things: Basswood, a Cricut Maker Knife Blade… and a lot of patience, because cutting these can take SEVERAL hours.It wasn’t a total loss for me, because I’m using this wood to make burn art (with a burn pen) and it’s good for that.

These are a good craft product. I have already used them as bases for weaving small baskets. I look forward to using them for not only that but also for other projects. I would buy these again.
