Q: I live in an exposed area .. are these vents noisy?

The flaps do blow in strong winds, so are audible. But when you are talking in the same area, it only initially marginally distracts when a visitor asks, "What's that noise?" Once they know, conversation continues easily.

Q: I’ve got a grille that needs replacing - how easy is this product to install? Do you have instructions?

The person who removed my broken grill and fitted the external grill into my existing extractor fan casing did the job within 5 minutes of going up the ladder. He said it was very straightforward. I didn't see how it was done, but he'd never done that kind of repair before. It looks good and has continued to work well, much better than before when it was broken by strong galeforce winds, after many years of such weather.
