The charger crapped out after about 5 uses and then stopped charging. 10 days after return window expired. Suspicious that it seems to be happening for others as wellEdit: the company did send me another unit and this one has not malfunctioned. The power delivery has been consistent and the unit does not heat up. Compared to another similar charger, this unit is worth the money if you get the unit that has met quality expectations.

I had an issue with my original ThinkPad charging unit. Namely, my dog decided to chew on it while I was away at work one day. I immediately went online to try and find a replacement charger because going without a charge was not going to be an option. I ordered the cheapest one that I could find online, not paying much attention to the details in the description. What a mistake !! The charging unit that I had purchased was only a 60W version and immediately my laptop informed me that it was 'slow charging' and to 'consider using the original charger that came with the laptop'. After closer inspection, I realized that my chewed up charger that came with the laptop was actually a 90W charger. I searched online and found this 90W version for even less than the 60W that I had previously purchased. What a lifesaver this was and the shipping and customer service from this Seller was amazing. Ok Amazon, they are lacking in offering quality products. This is the 2nd time and 2 different sellers that I have ordered a charger and BOTH have been faulty and defective and very poor quality. I ordered this charger to replace the defective charger I previously ordered. The listing stated NEW but when I received the package, the box the charger was in had a sticker from Amazon that stated the charger was refurbished. Well the listing stated I was purchasing a NEW charger. I open the box and go to use the charger and the USB end of the charger is stripped, it is useless. What is going on here lately??? I will be returning the charger and will not be ordering a charger for the 3rd time. I am tired of getting faulty products.
