We needed a new iron and saw this in the fabric store last year. I saw that the power light was on with the iron face down on the ironing board at the fabric store when I mentioned it to the owner. She laughed and showed me what a marvel this iron was! It automatically extends feet when left sole side down and does an auto shutdown if not in constant use. This is a great improvement in household irons. The long, swivel cord and the 360 directional cord are another two great features. Lastly, the water tank display and heat settings are easy to see and use. This is a great iron!

I am so impressed with this iron. I use it for quilting a some pressing of clothing. It is a game changer. You don’t have to use distilled water in it, you can use tap water. I use Spring Water because we have such hard water where I live. The ease of pressing seams when sewing and instead of propping your iron upright, you just leave it off to the side and it pops up. This is a simple change to my regular iron, but it’s a huge step in the right direction, especially for my shoulder. One step to eliminate completely of putting the iron upright. Who knew? It presses beautifully with or without steam. And it’s easy to clean if you get fusible web on it. So happy!

I love this iron!! It’s a bit heavier than others, but it glides so effortlessly over fabric, you don't even notice it. It gets all but the most stubborn wrinkles out with one pass. Super easy to fill the tank and see the water level! Really easy to tell when its hot, the light simply stops blinking. Controls are easy to see and get to, nothing hiding under the handle. To put it simply it was made by a crafter, for crafters, quilters, etc. The retractable rest does take a bit to get used to though, but no problems so far.

Excellent product this is my second purchase in last 5 years the previous one last me for years before it fell on floor and stop working. I love steam feature, weight is light and no fear to burn as it automatically shuts off. It is little pricy but will last you for years if you use it with care.

I needed to replace my 7 year old iron because it slid off the ironing board and stopped working with water. As a quilter, I need steam. This oliso is a tad different from the one that I used for 7 years but I will get used to it.

I absolutely love this iron. I was on the fence about this due to the price, I finally bought it and I am so glad. It heats up fast and removes wrinkles from quilting fabric that has been creased for years! My cutting is more accurate as I no longer have wrinkles in my fabric. It’s so nice to not have to set it upright. I had a hard time choosing the color but honestly the color does not matter because of how well this iron works!

I'm in love with the auto-rise feature! This is my third Oliso auto-rise iron purchase. The plate on this one is not as large and has fewer steam holes, so I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
