I spent two days researching air purifiers before deciding on the Coway Airmega and I am so pleased that I did. It is by far the best performing air purifier I have ever owned and features a design which you could easily mistake for something from Apple. Five years ago I purchased my first air purifier and it changed my life, two months ago I purchased this and it had the same effect again. This unit eclipsed my previous one in terms of size and power, and as a result cleans the air so much better. The media could not be loaded. As the dust levels were becoming a real problem, from my husky, I decided that I needed to get an air purifier. After doing a lot of research, I found that I needed one with a true hepa filter, an active carbon filter and a washable /vacuumable pre-filter and decided that Coway would be my choice of brand and that this particular model would be the best, because of the addition of the active carbon filter and the room size compared to the popular mighty model, which has a cooker hood type carbon filter and not actual charcoal, which this one does. The air purifier arrived very quickly and was very easy to set up. It is so much quieter than I expected, even on turbo. I was previously having to vacuum multiple times a day. Now when I'm vacuuming, it's difficult to find much dust. The air in the room is liken to a window open and it feels so fresh. This appliance has really fixed my problem. Thank you Coway!

Awesome machine! Coway purifiers are awesome Love the fact that you can adjust its sensitivity, and even the air flow to make it front facing instead of upwards. Only niggle is that the filters are coated in chemicals which i'm not a fan of. I would absolutely love to see some H13 hepa/carbon filters for this unit that do not have the greenHEPA element. I would purchase another unit without a doubt.

Brilliant for removing nuisance downstairs-neighbour's cigarette smoke. Turbo mode clears the room incredibly fast and is quieter than a cooker extractor fan. The noise made by normal modes is barely noticeable. Yet they continue to clean the air very well. Night mode is perfect.Device stays in auto mode most of the day and cranks up speed when the air needs cleaning.

I was very happy with my smaller Coway air purifier purchased a couple years ago, so I ordered this one. It arrived in a previously opened box which gave me pause. I did set it up, and the fan made a loud rattling sound like something was loose inside. The sound was made with and without the filters installed. This lead me to think the defective item was potentially previously returned due to the box having been opened before. When attempting a return, there are only options to take it to a drop off point, not any for collection of this large and heavy item. Disappointing product and process.

Great functionality, plays a chipper little tune when you turn it on, uses 50W in turbo mode, only 5W more than a conventional fan on max, plus the additional functionality of an air filter. A good way of keeping the air feeling fresh with all the windows closed in the depths of winter, along with a strong gust for cooling in the summer.The unit is light and easy to carry, cleaning/maintainance is a doddle. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking a fan/filter.

The functions are amazing, sleep mode is so silent you cannot hear it. It made a massive difference to my son who coughs at night. The first night he didn't cough at all and his coughing now is minimal thanks to this purifier. My son has multiple severe allergies, some of them being cat and pollens and house dust. And this purifier enables us to clear our bedroom or lounge of these and let him breathe safely. I would buy this again and again and recommend it to everyone. It also has fab turbo mode and you can swap the air to come straight or up.

I don't want to leave a long review other than to say that this does really tick all the boxes you would want from a HEPA air purifier. I haven't had any issues with it. Other than the fact that I do wish the base of the product was wider so that it was more stable. It is stable as it is but it can be knocked over. I carried out extensive research before buying and I do think this offers great value for money and is very effective at curbing my allergies in addition to vacuuming regularly and changing my bed sheets often. It also looks the part and the sleep mode is whisper quiet. It actually performs much better than a dyson at a fraction of the cost, I'd look at video reviews online to see how much Dyson's air purifiers are a rip off in terms of performance when compared to the Coway AirMega and other similar devices. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
