Legos are always a hit!
Our nephew (8) loved this set and built it in 2 hours and was showing us all the tricks it did on the ramp it came with. He was excited to play with it and we were the cool aunt and uncle! big win.

Nice Legos Kit
This was a nice kit and grandson probably enjoyed it. He kept his put away, maybe so his younger siblings wouldn't try to mess with his. Nice price and neat design. Would buy again.

but I personally don't like Legos for some educational and developmental reasons as well ...
My review on the other model (Stunt Bike 42058) in this pair applies to this one as well:I've bought quite a few Legos just because my son likes them, but I personally don't like Legos for some educational and developmental reasons as well as their durability (as a complete toy, not as an individual invincible block that can destroy my feet!). Said that, I like this one a lot. My 5Y.O. could build this with a little help here and there (pushing in some tight parts) and when completed, the bike is so much fun to play with. This thing can jump of course, but beyond that, this thing won't lose a part even if it falls to a hard surface from a table. In addition, you can see the gears working to drive the wheel. Totally different from the typical Legos that is just a bunch of space-filling blocks and can't be played without breaking. Way to go Lego!

A Moderately-Fun Advanced Set that Does go Fast
This set is a little bit low on piece-count, compared to the other Technic vehicle sets, but it's still very fun to put together and it goes fast. I'd say the recommendation of the set for kids 7+ is very accurate in this case. I built it for my under-7 year old and he pretty quickly broke the jump that you make out of cardboard and he could not have assembled it himself. A great looking kit too.

This is unquestionably a fantastic value at the $59 or o that I got ...
This is unquestionably a fantastic value at the $59 or o that I got for on sale for the holidays. This is so much faster than my son's older Kindle with the 6 inch screen and supports external SD card memory so I can load a bunch of movies onto an inexpensive 32 or 64GB SD card for him to watch on trips. After seeing this I'm not sure if it worth paying 3x+ more for the 10" Kindle. I may even get oe of these for myself to take on flights just to watch movies on and browse the web at airports. My only gripe is that initially it took a long time to set up. I looked like it was going through multiple instances of OS upgrades and I was concerned that it was stuck in some sort of setup loop but eventually it got itself setup after maybe an hour and several reboots.

good build
quick build for my boys but it stays together and can take punishment without crumbling into 147 pieces. this makes a happy dad. we've had this for about 8 months and it's one of the heartiest technics we have.

Extra feature to a lego set
This was our first technic purchase. We're are very familiar with legos but the extra features of the technics are awesome. They seem harder to deconstruct which is great with a 4 year old but he loves it because of the pull back feature. Our 6 year old loves it as well.

Great LEGO toys
Good price from Amazon Warehouse. Great product from Lego. It's got a "Pull Back" motor that every kid loves. A jump-ramp that does NOT collapse after multiple uses. Best of all, when they are tired -of it they can build something else.
