Anybody use the ask tank in the wet dry shop vacuum and 3 gallon ash tank combo? not finding any reviews of that feature.

Bought the vac with the ash tank so I could vacuum out the woodstove. First time I used it the ash was drawn right through the ash tank and into the vacuum until the screen on the ash tank was clogged. Cleaned it up as best I could and returned it. Back to using the little shovel to clean the stove.

What is the diameter of the canisters?

Canister is approx 10". Base with wheels about 18" and top with handles is about 15"

Can you use this to connect to, say a track saw, to collect the sawdust?

Yes, I connect it to my table saw as well as my handheld tools such as my jigsaw and sander. Some tools require a vacuum adapter, but this hose is a standard size so no worries.
