Where are your products made?

Most of our production is done in France at our three Brittany manufactories that make nearly 380 million products annually, which is almost 89% of our products.

In a few rare cases when we don’t have the expertise in making a requested technology, we will call in specialists. For example, our Vertige Eye Liner Pens are made in Germany.

Are your products eco-friendly?

Our ambition is to control the ecological impact of our activity at each step in the life of our products from their conception to their use by customers.

To give you an example we have set up a Plant Charter in order to favor using natural raw materials or those from organic farming.  Moreover, all our industrial sites have been committed for over 15 years to good manufacturing processes, with a priority for reducing at the source to decrease waste.  We gained our first environmental certification thanks to this commitment. We have widened our approach through the Yves Rocher Foundation committed to the protection of the plant world and with the promise to plant 100 million trees before 2020 and this objective has been achieved.

Are your products gluten-free?

While Yves Rocher does not use ingredients that contain gluten or any ingredients derived from gluten, we cannot guarantee that the formulations are 100% gluten free due to the presence of certain plant extracts in the production facilities. As a result, some products may contain very small traces of gluten at an extremely low concentration - to the point that it may even be undetectable by current analytical techniques.
