If you're a fan of the Blackhawks franchise, you owe it to yourself to buy this book.It is a beautiful tribute to the Original Six team, told in gorgeous pictures and just enough words to satisfy the literary geeks/wordsmiths.The author's love of the team & knowledge of the sport shines through this spectacular visual piece. You can tell that he's put love, effort & time into this book.It's not easy to highlight the best parts of an Original Six franchise, but Tab has a knack for a witty phrase and a lovely turn of speech without making it hokey or too saccharine. He's literate and--when the historic moment calls for it--poetic.This is a beautiful visual & verbal tribute to one of the best franchises in hockey history. Money well spent for any fan who appreciates the franchise and what it means to the history of the NHL.

An excellent written book by a writer who really knows his stuff. Tons of information for any level of Hawks fan. It's a must have for anybody who enjoys the history of hockey. The pictures are truly amazing and several of them can only be seen in the hockey hall of fame or in this book.
