Great value.
Works flawlessly. I installed it to an Antelope Zen Studio interface to bring in another 8 channels of preamps and have had only positive results. The build seems strong and capable of being moved about without fear of damage. Great value.

*Not suitable for Roland TD4*
This was a well made cable snake, unfortunately I had to return it as it was not compatible with my Roland TD4. I'd come upon this cable set linked from a source claiming that this will be a great replacement if you are missing the cable harness but unfortunately that source was completely wrong. The cable itself did what it was supposed to be doing and it was built well, just not functional for what I needed it to do. If you're looking for a decent cable snake with a dsub25 connector, this is it. If you're looking for a replacement cable harness for a Roland electronic drum kit, this is not it - I was lucky enough to find someone on ebay willing to part out just the cable harness.

Great D-Sub solution for analog I/O
Great analog I/O solution for banks of 8 audio signals. Sturdy, well made cables hosed in a durable jacket with quality shielding and connectors. The cable ships with 2 different sets/sizes of D-SUB bolts as well, however...They appear to have changed the bolt design from the original 1990's design that we have. Only 1 size/style of the newer design bolts have the large plastic flange, not both. This flange keeps the D-SUB connector from backing out and firmly seats the connector. The style/size bolts with the knurled aluminum ends are the same diameter as the hole/opening of the D-SUB connector and allow the connector to back out if bumped.

Excellent value and about half the price without being half the quality.
Works perfect for my Mackie Onyx 1620 mixer. Will order another one as soon as I have the need to record 16 tracks simultaneously. Excellent value compared to other manufacturers. About half the price without being half the quality.

Value
I purchased this for my Apogee AD16X. The securing pins did not seem to fit very well then I noticed a little bag with 2 dark pins. I nearly threw them away! Swapped out the pins for a perfect fit.Yes, there are better cables out there if you need it. In my case the signal is +4dB line level, so super low noise (as if using mic level) is not a concern. Secondly, this is for me a "connect one time - leave in place" situation so I do not need heavy duty construction. If you will be frequently making connections consider another option with higher build quality.I will be buying more of these.

Good snake, but needs strain relieve
I've always like Hosa cables for their balance of affordability and quality. These don't stray from that approach, although I'd have happily paid another dollar for some strain relief at the place where the cables enter the 1/4" jacks. A little tug while working behind a crowded rack could easily pull a connection loose. Aside from that, it's a good snake and the inclusion of European-theaded lugs is much appreciated.

This is a well-written, well-researched historical novel. The author is also a humor writer, and that humor is always under the surface. Interesting characters and a well-thought-out plot. I will definitely read more from this author.
