I use this pad to relieve stiff neck or back pain. I like the fact that the heat pad can be set to stay on indefinitely if desired. The control is easy to operate and lights up for a few seconds to make adjusting at night simple. The heat level is pretty good; I like level 8, and it goes up to 9 so there’s a little reserve warmth available. My cats approve too, and we sometimes have to discuss who gets to use the heat pad. The fabric on both sides is soft and not too bumpy with wires.The one thing I would change is the way the cord attaches. There is a round plastic lump on the surface in one corner for plugging in the cord. Some other brands sandwich the plug between the front and back layers, which is better.I’ve been using this pad for about a year and it’s fabric still looks good and no electrical problems so far.

I complained recently to my friend that my back was killing me. After having a bad reaction to one of the stick on skin lidocaine patches, I was left with the over the clothes kind. But that comes with all kinds of problems—- when your shirt moves, the patch moves, they aren’t that warm, they are small etc. I also do not have a microwave so those nice smelling microwaveable ones are also a no go. This plug in one was missing from my life and I can’t believe I went so long without one. Firstly: cost effective. No need to buy boxes of patches. Second is its large enough to cover my whole back or wrap around my lower back. Can be used on the shoulder or neck too. The temperature control is great, it has a nice range of temps. It does say machine washable… which I’m not sure how since it has wires and such attached. But despite that it is still so great. Totally worth!

I bought this in June but by the end of November it had burnt out, it just didn’t heat anymore. I sent an email to the company and within 24 hours they had sent out a replacement.Would definitely purchase again.

*EDIT 2* 2/20/24: Since receiving the replacement it has ALSO stopped working and was not used that often! Very disappointing. I will not purchase again. They clearly need to go look at there quality closer to prevent this from happening in the future. Back to a 1 star!::::Edit::: since writing this review I have been contacted about troubleshooting and with no success they have agreed to send me a replacement. Which I appreciate because this is a really amazing heating pad! I have updated my review to 4 stars. I would have done 5, but i feel like that would only be fair if it worked and stayed working. But I am happy to be getting a new one.I bought previously and love it! So naturally I ordered one for my husband so he stops stealing mine.. got it for xmas. Now 2 weeks later it stopped working. Turns on but will not heat. So disappointed by this since my old one is still working with no issues. It's like the quality went down hill over time.

I gave this heating pad 4 stars although I was tempted to give it 3. I think that the manufacturer had the right idea with this product but missed the mark in a number of ways.Dislikes:I like that it's a generous size but I wish that it was shorter and wider.The coupler for the cable is large, gets in the way and digs into my back if I try to use the pad in the long position. A sort run of cable to a connector would have made way more sense.The highest of nine heat settings is not as hot as I would like; #9 is good on bare skin but not hot enough when wearing a shirt.I can't read the controller in the dark if I want to check the remaining time. The light goes out after a moment and if I press the on/off button to reactivate the light the heating pad shuts off and I have to restart the timer which may be more remaining time than I wanted.Likes:Nice and soft.9 heat settings (if for some reason you want less heat than #9 which is not all that hot).Long electric cord so an extension corn isn't needed.Easy to wrap around your neck although that damned coupler can get in the way.
