Q: Can I use it under blankets? I am interested in getting one to use on a low setting to keep my feet warm in winter.

It has settings 1- 9 and you can also put a timer on it. I have used under the blanket and it is perfect.

Why would anyone know why your heating pad quit working after 1 week? Silly question. It’s not Amazon’s fault! It’s the defective way things are made these days. Most are coming from China which we all are aware is a hit or a miss. Amazon has a great return policy. Try it before faulting Amazon.
