Back Again Are We?
I bought this in 2022, and it has seen me through countless nightclubs, parties, and even work events. My only concern was that the crossfader started to feel a bit flimsy. I was determined not to switch to being a laptop DJ, so I got an iPad Pro and persevered, but eventually, it let me down. I tried to buy a new crossfader and install it, but that didn’t go well. Sadly, I had to part ways with the Mixon 4, which was disappointing. Now, I'm on the hunt for another iPad-compatible controller. While the Mixon 8 Pro is top-notch, it does have an issue with the TRACK FREEZE. Despite all this, I really miss DJing, and this controller is the reason why. Everything about it is fantastic—the neural mix, jog wheels, cue points, and the DJAY app. It’s worth every penny! And yes, I’m going for a new discontinued controller!

Still one of my favorite purchases
This mixer, combined with Djay Pro 2 for Mac OS, is what I’ve been using for a year now. The sole reason I got it was because of the Spotify integration.Since getting this mixer and having 30 million songs in my crate (thanks to Spotify), I’ve undergone an explosion of creativity. It’s how I discover new music now, too. There is a match feature, which will serve up songs that mix well with the song being played (both in key and bpm). This enables me to mix songs I’ve never even heard before, going down rabbit holes and finding gems along the way that make their way into my permanent playlists.I record my sets using the booth outs to a Tascam recorder. I then run that file through Platinum Notes and I’m ready to listen to my set. The main outs go to my monitors and sub.I think it’s important to distinguish between Djay Pro 2 for Mac OS vs the iPad app. Not hating on the iPad app, but the Mac app is way more reliable, powerful, and I’ve had zero issues. It’s truly a genius piece of software once you get to know how to use it. 5 stars. The iPad app IMHO is 3 stars.Tips:Manually adjust the grid (on the mixer it’s shift+tap) to correct improperly gridded songs. You can’t record your Spotify-based sets due to copyright restriction, so utilize the booth outs to recording device.I would easily buy this again and any new iterations —- I’ll be on top of Reloop & Algoriddim’s collaboration. It’s extremely well executed here.

Fantastic - Works well with iOS Djay Pro
I bought this as a step up from my Reloop Mixtour. Two weeks in and I have nothing but positive things to say. It's a solid performer.Surprises I have found: On front side the Mic volume control knob presses in and holds flush to the front of controller. Just press it again and it pops out. Honestly I was worried about knocking this button off until I realized I could just press it in. Lastly, search for "Vegas Mode" in the firmware update instructions. Fun addition for your kids to watch.Update: Now about 8 months in using the Mixon 4...have nothing but positive things to say. Everything still feels solid and works perfectly. Mixer gets about 10 hours of use a week. I have mine paired with a Thon flight case...cannot find a compliant.

Works great with deejay 2 and my ipad pro
Works great with deejay 2 and my ipad pro. It charges the ipad and responds very nicely provided the ipad is functioning properly. Looks professional and has an intuitive layout and its functions are practical. Overall its worth buying but I wish it had midi and something that I could sync time with. It would have also been nice to have an xlr or two. For the price I feel like they could have added a couple of things and made it the ultimate alternative dj rig. That being said I've very satisfied with it. Would definitely recommend it unless you're going to buy some cd-j's instead. It doesn't get much better.

Bunk cross fader will not work soon after buying!
This controller is junk- the maker would not replace a faulty new controller and wanted me to send out for weeks to get it repaired instead of taking care of a customer that has gigs every week! This controller was good at first but- not long after buying from amazon- the cross fader is bunk and will not work right- I would look elsewhere for another controller- messed up cross fader means whack sounding DJ- do not buy this

Plug and play comes with everything but a case for that price should have come with a case.
The cross fader just jammed up on me, I have only had the product for one year and a few days. you cant replace just the fader it looks like, and coming from a scratch DJ. you know we burn them out, it sucks now so I will have to use the channel controller for now until I find out if there is anything that can be done to fix or replace the broken part. I use this mixed about 3 nights a week and it held up from night club to night club, but for over $800.00 I would hope to have gotten a few more years out of it. never had this problem with my Pioneer but at least I could change the fader if I needed to. was just looking for something a little less expressive, over all I like it but I should have spent the extra $400.00 and went with the Pioneer I wanted.

... its own if you play with an iPad Pro like me. 4 decks
In a league of its own if you play with an iPad Pro like me. 4 decks, Reloop quality, sounds amazing. Intuitive layout and functions, a bit on the heavy and big side for a controller to carry around and all, but it's 4 channel and all them 4 channels are too in fact so it's not really a flaw but rather a characteristic.
