Viperfect,
I paid less than 200 because it supposedly has a large cosmetic defect I haven't found. Also it's 16 inches (my old chair is 18) but it seems a perfect fit. A bonus is, it squishes into the bathroom,Something to think about when the floors are too wet for a walker.Maybe a special friend of Amazon was supposed to buy it, but I got it first. It's tons better than buying new parts for my DM-Cougar, unless you're into that (I am not).Five stars all the way around, what can I say.

Do not purchase this wheelchair
I am replacing a 2015 Drive Medical Viper Plus GT Wheelchair - with this updated model. My husband did not use it very much, just a few months after his amputation and a couple months in 2020 while recovering from a wound. He needs to use it now for a few months. I dusted the cobwebs off and he has been using it for the past several weeks. I felt the quality and workmanship of that chair was par and had no issues - until Monday evening when the bolt holding the left front wheel jimmied loose causing my disabled husband to crash to the floor. He was hurt. Ambulance had to be called, he is in the hospital as I leave this review with a significant hematomas from his fall. (I am telling the truth). I unboxed the new wheelchair this evening, and am very sickened to see the cheep quality of materials compared to my 2015 model and the fact that locks to the wheels do not come close to locking. I do not know how to adjust those things, and will have to spend some time watching you tube videos I guess. I wanted it to arrive at my door, ready to take to the hospital for my husband to use. No such luck. PS I was surprised for $580 there was no seat cushion provided. Stay away from this death trap.

Nice, light chair
Very nice chair that operates as it should and is extremely light compared to most. Quality and functionality is as you would expect from a Drive chair…

It falls apart
I bought this in 2022 thinking it would be a nice replacement for my old wheelchair. At first it was but after some use,the armrests wobble back and forth, the whole chair sqeaked whenever it moved and a few weeks ago, the whole side of the chair broke. These wheelchairs should not be made with plastic. In my opinion it was very poorly made. As a non disabled person you expect things to be reliable and last. Why don't handicapped people have that right to. I have a piece of crap sitting in the garage. I am on social security, a limited income and that is a peice of junk. I don't like the shortcuts people use to build stuff now. That's unacceptable.

Solid chair
This is a solid, comfortable chair. The only negative is the aluminum hand rims, which are slick and hard to grip.

Lightweight which is helpful for an older person and for putting in the back of the car.
Lightweight which is great for an older person and easy on the person lifting it into the back of the vehicle.
