Q: Why does it say alcohol free if I see alcohol on the list twice?

When they are talking about "alcohol free" they are probably referring to Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) which can cause skin irritation. Cetyl alcohol and cetearyl alcohol are fatty alcohols which are very different. Cetyl alcohol comes from plants and is an emollient used in cosmetics. Cetearyl alcohol is is used to provide moisture in shampoos, conditioners, and this deodorant. I bought this deodorant for my daughter and then I found it at Walgreens and bough it there too. I borrow it from her all the time. They need to make a grownup version :)
