One of the most self explanatory books in the market for neuroanatomy, provides complete coverage of topics such as thalamus that are missing in the comparative books,one of the most enjoyable book in whole of the first year along with my other fvrt sub i.e. embryology by langmann, professor Dr. Ravi sir is also very exceptional with his honorable work done on the book,proud to attend some of his lectures while @ AIIMS gkp, thanku so much sir for this gr8 work

Snell's Clinical Neuroanatomy is a highly comprehensive book which provides practical orientation to the subject. The beginning of chapters with a clinical case makes the read engaging. The 'Clinical Problem Solving' and 'Colour Atlas of Brain' are worthy of appreciation. Also, the MCQs and Radiological Images attached are particularly beneficial from the exam point of view.
