Shampoo bar - For all hair types - No added scent

This works well and is a good price. I wet my hair and rub it onto my scalp and it lathers up quickly. It leaves my hair soft and very clean without making it feel stripped. There seems to be just enough conditioner in it to leave my hair feeling soft when it is dry but not heavy or laden with oil. I use a small drop of argan oil on the ends of my hair once it is dry and this is enough to keep my hair conditioned. I have tried other bars, one of which leaves the hair too oily afterwards and one which I like but has become very expensive. I get skin irritation from scents and linalool so I am delighted to find an unscented shampoo bar that works so well. The bar does not end up a soggy mess either. I keep it in an open metal soap bar holder so it can air dry between washes. It arrives in a cardboard box with no plastic packaging so one less plastic bottle in the bathroom and land fill. Good product.

This product has no perfumes, so doesn't irritate the skin directly. It lathers easily, but the bar stays intact, so hopefully it will end up as good value for money. My hair and scalp are still recovering from the last one I tried (which was awful sin so many ways I couldn't have predicted!), so still waiting to see the full effects of this one. However, after just 2 washes, I am seeing great results already with less itching and less oil production.

I really liked the shampoo. Great smell, leaves hair beautifully, and creates lots of lather. I gave 3/5 stars because it doesn't last very long. One bar lasted me a bit less than 2 months. I have short hair so I expected a longer duration. I've bought other solid shampoos that have lasted longer.

I have searched far and wide for a shampoo that cleans my hair whilst not irritating my highly atopic problem skin (read: eczema, dermatitis, sores, hives) - particularly skin around my neck and my back, which are obvious targets for nefarious ingredients in many shampoos (and not just the cheap high street ones!)A lot of shampoos which claim to natural or mild are still packed full of harsh chemicals. I've tried many bottles and a few bars at this stage and had the same issues with encountering sulfates, benzyl alcohol, strong perfumes etc that sting and burn fragile skin like mine.This shampoo bar does not do that. It is truly mild! And yet still creates a good cleaning foam. I have used it a number of times now with no issues and I dearly hope it continues to work. If anything changes I shall update this review, but so far, so good...... crossing my fingers so I can come back and buy more!UPDATE: A couple of months later and this is still the real deal. My first time using a shampoo bar and think I'm a convert. Much less fuss than the liquid bottles and especially useful for travel.Leaves hair feeling soft and clean with no itch.

No noticeable scent, doesn’t aggravate my asthma. Seems to be lasting a lot better than other shampoo bars I have tried, lots of lather and my hair feels great after washing

I had an immediate allergic reaction - my head was very itchy immediately after using it - so I needed to re-wash my hair within 10 minutes!I checked the ingredients (after using) and the third one listed is Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is apparently known for causing allergic reactions!Information from healthline.com;''Some people have an allergic reaction when they use products containing CAPB. I've tried a few shampoo bars with varying success and when I ran out of my usual one I thought I'd give this a shot. Unfortunately it doesn't suit my hair or skin. I find that many shampoo bars can give leave some residue and clog pores and this seems to be one of those, even after using an extra rinse afterwards.My hair started off quite static but quickly got greasy. I also got a lot of blocked pores on my forehead and a few spots on my face and chest.
