This walker is safe for your child.
There are so many things to consider when buying something for a baby. I bought the Chicco Walky Talky Baby Walker for my grandson after reading countless reviews and specifications for what is available on the market. For example, don't buy a walker with pointy things that can poke him/her in the eye when his/her head bobs around. Don't buy a walker that will allow him/her to crush fingers when crashing into things. I looked carefully at approximately 15 walkers, and I chose this one for safety and durability. My grandson has had it for about 1 month, and I am still very impressed. Also, his mother likes it because she can easily fold it down and carry it. His father likes it also because the "toys" can be removed. The different languages are really nice, as well Whoever designed this walker knew a lot about babies!!

For quality and value it fits the bill
My granddaughter loved it as soon as she got in she immediately recognized her newfound mobility and freedom. They aren't in walkers very long but the walkers are essential to them feeling confident about their mobility and balance also the parents sense of security in their Safe mobility

Easy to clean. Moves on carpet. Baby loves it.
We didn't bother with the battery operated junk on top, so I can't speak to that. I was looking for a walker with cup holders, was easy to clean, and could give our little guy a place to bounce and use his leg muscles. This delivers. I love the colors too... it's not so HERE'S ANOTHER KIDS THING! And it's not gender specific. It moves fine on carpet, at least our guy gets it moving pretty quick. Obviously much faster across hard flooring, but don't we get these things to buy us a little time and slow the guys down a bit? ;D

Good quality. While reading the reviews
Arrived on time. Good quality. While reading the reviews, some were that the sound is not loud enough. I do not find that. I think the sound is perfect for the child to hear. I was disappointed that the "ABCs" and "123s" only go up to ABC and 123. It would seem that it should go up to at least five if not ten. And the full alphabet would be great. I know that it does say it in six languages, but is that really necessary. I think limiting it to three or four and giving a fuller learning experience in those languages would be more useful.

Best purchase recently
This is my best baby purchase recently! I buy a lot of a crap for my baby that he ends up not using, but this one he loves. In two days, he’s learned to use it and he’s zipping around the house. He’s 8 months old and I feel like it’s helping him to understand walking leg movements and build strength. Quality is decent and the breaks work well. My only complaint is that the seat isn’t very soft - sort of stiff.

Perfect for the pre-walker baby!
This walker is solid and sturdy. The toys are entertaining and also sturdy. Money well spent!

Our baby loves this! EDIT: safety hazard???
Update: mentioned this at pediatrician visit and they said these are major safety hazards such that they are illegal in some countries because they cause hip development issues and can delay learning to walk if your baby is in it for more than 10 minutes a day. Yikes! Wish we had known sooner. We immediately got rid of ours.ORIGINAL POST:Our baby is much bigger/more mobile than their age so at 3 months they started using this. At first they just loved to stand and it was nice to be able to let them stand and practice that without having to balance them so we could eat or do chores. They love the little songs on the music setting and enjoy scooting around slowly. Not quite strong enough to push the hippos or lion yet but lean or push on the flowers often. They get frustrated that they cannot lean far enough forward to put the lion in their mouth and it is adorable. Whenever older kids come over (like 6-18 months) they lovd pushing the buttons and climbing into the chair.Practically speaking, there are 3 height settings and it is fairly simple to move between them. The settings for sound are easy to switch between. Cleaning is okay but the cracks around the chair can be annoying and the chair itself is handwash only. Also, the writing for the sound settings (off, words, music) rubbed off within like a week from our drool-bomber's constant wet contact with them.I meant to buy a bouncer but bought this instead and our baby likes it so much better than the swing! Well worth the purchase.
