Q: Does this cover go on the mixer with the bowl on it? I have a Kitchenaid 5 quart Artisan stand mixer and would like to leave the bowl in place while covered.

Mine covers the Artisan mixer with SS bowl and bowl cover/splatter shield attached. Hope this answers your question.

Q: Would it fit the 8 quart kitchenaid? I have a cover for it but isn't long enough. (Looks like a tall person wearing pants that are too short.)

To be honest I do not think it would fit on the 8qt Kitchenaid! I have the Kitchenaid Classic which is 4.5 qts and it fits it perfectly. So I am thinking it would not fit or be really tight on the 8 qt setup.

Q: Do these covers FIT 6 qt pro mixers or not?

I have the 6 quart Epicurean model. This cover is a couple of inches short and the bowl's handle causes the cover to sit a tad bit lopsided on the machine. I'm okay with the way it fits, but it does NOT fit perfectly.

I have this in black and would say it fits almost perfectly - covering it with the “bowl”, plastic liner and base. Maybe something just a tiny bit bigger would be better, but I am very happy with it 🙂
