I'm using it on fresh water
Love my tuna sun but I wasn't getting the color I wanted.Bought the Tuna Blue and set it so it comes on in the evening. My aquarium looks great, and I can use ALL the settings that the tunasun DOESN'T have. My freshwater fish really love it too!I'm running the tuna sun during the day and around 8:00 in the evening thetuna blue turns on and the sun turns off. IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!!Love them together and so do my fish!

Don't underestimate these powerful little lights.
Arrived in 2 days. Lights are solid, and built to last. I'm using (2) of them on a 29g biocube. I decided to use 2 in order to have them both on at about 50%, rather then having one on full blast. Color blending is as expected from Kessil. My soft corals and leathers reacted very positive to the light and started showing a nice response after the lights were on for an hour.Could these grow sps? One could on 80-100% if left on for 10-12 hours @ 4" away from water surface and sps moved to the top of the tank. Normally if you're worried about not having enough light intensity, just leave the lights on longer to make up for it. My red bubble tip Anemonie was happy under it.I will be growing LPS and softies under this and maybe a mint acropora.Aesthetics wise, this light is extremely pleasing to the eye and provides a nice aqua dominated appearance when turning the color knob up. I'd also highly recommend the Kessil spectral controller which really shows off the potential of these lights.Last note, the seller (champion lighting) was more then helpful and was great to work with. I'd highly recommend purchasing from them with peace of mind.

Perfect for pico aquarium.
Pretty good light. I have it on a 2.5 gallon tank. I had a birdsnest coral that was bleaching in my larger tank and it's doing much better under this light. It has actually grown in 6 months since I put it in.**UPDATE**7 months later and this has been a solid light with more than enough wattage for my set-up and nice shimmer effect. Best coral growth I got was from 3 small pieces of birdsnest coral that I eventually glued together and it branched out from there (see pics). Only downside is the shadowing (common to LEDs). I have been running this light at about 40% color and 75% intesity for 10 hours a day (100% blue for first couple hours and last couple hours).

Worth Every Penny
Decided to move to the A80 after using a pico from reef breeders. There’s a reason Kessil’s been around since Jesus Christ was a Lance Corporal. This light is worth every penny whether you’re using one on a nano tank or 4 linked on a 90g waterbox. My only suggestion is, if you’re going to buy an A80, get the spectral remote as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really does the job!
I put one of these lights on my 10 gallon community tank in the kitchen to help keep the aquatic plants healthy. An added plus is that it really shows how crystal clear the water is, and highlights the colors on the neon tetras. There has been a learning curve for me about how many hours a day to keep it on because overuse definitely encourages algae growth. I'm very satisfied with this terrific light.

Great lighting on my Lagoon tank for LPS and supplemental for Tridacna Clams
Added this just for my Tridacna clams in a shallow 10" deep tank. Else Kessils seem to be the best for LPS for some reason. The Kessil logic will always provide the proper spectrum compared to screwing around with fancier units. They may not be the most intense or highest PAR but you don't need the highest PAR anyways.

Buyer's remorse - cords everywhere
A word of caution before purchasing this light, while it does a great job of illuminating my tank the technology is very outdated. If you're going to purchase the accompanying Spectral X Controller know that you have to hardwire the connection to both the light and a USB power adapter outlet. Plus the interface on the Spectral controller is just outdated and difficult to work with.I wish I would have done more research regarding this light before purchasing it. I would have spent the money on something more updated that included wireless control capabilities and an app like an AI Prime, AI Sol, or the Red Sea LED 50.
