Restaurant to Another World: Season One - Essentials Blu-ray + Digital

Whenever I feel like relaxing and enjoying the peace on my days off, I some times put in Restaurant in Another World and vibe to the simple storytelling offered in this rare non-conforming isekai tale about a modern Japanese cook who serves restaurant style food to fantasy world visitors who eagerly await the spatial door and eat their favorite meals. The animators put extra detail and lighting emphasis on the meals presented on-screen, taking notes from other food related anime such as Food Wars. So it invigorates my appetite for japanese cuisine and at rare times European cuisine.

Each episode introduces the popular Japanese people's all time favorite comfort food. Descriptions of the food are soooo good that after watching the show, even it's late at night, I started cooking!

This is great watch. Avery wholesome and easy going show. It always makes me feel a bit better after watching the interactions between the kind hearted and hard working chef with all these very excitable customers, pulled straight out of any fantasy. Truly a must watch for anyone that wants a feel good show.

I loved this series from the first episode. A simple idea, but done well. A more relaxing series to sit down and pass some time with. Really happy it got a second season. Should definitely be given a viewing.

While it doesn't have any intense scenes like in food wars, it still a good series to watch. The characters are interesting and it just makes for to enjoy with your friends and family. Not to mention some of the food they show makes you want to try making them yourselves. Can't wait for season 2 to come out so I can buy it too.
