MartinLoganElectroMotion ESL X Floor-Standing Speaker Each Satin Black

I ordered 2 Martin Logan ESLX both speakers grill where broken off in the shipping box other then no grills on the speakers the sound great

I've had some MartinLogans for the last 20 years until my daughter's cats got ahold of them. I bought these as a replacement. They are much smaller but cost more than my originals. If my old MartinLogans were a 5 then I have to give these a 1. They don’t have any mid range or base, and if I'm honest my $400 Apple headphones sound better than this $4,400 pair of speakers. They aren't even close to my old MartinLogans.

Absolutely stellar. Excellent imaging, Replaced my beloved 25 year old vintage Infinity Kappa 7.1's (so I could move them into my office) and could not be happier with them.

When I first heard these speakers at a dealer, I fell in love with them for their crispness and wide sound field. They are the main speakers in my 10 speaker set-up that includes 7 Ohm speakers and an ML center speaker and the sound absolutely incredible. One of the things I noticed is that when I set on my outside veranda with the door open and good music on, it sounds like the artist is playing live in my living room.The only downside that I have found is that you can only really enjoy true top quality recordings. Less than that, and you can hear it immediately. Older CD's just sound "old" and Pandora does not cut it. Tidal sounds great though. Also, you need an amp with oompf! These speakers need a lot of CLEAN current.I have had the speakers for almost 3 years, and they have never disappointed. They keep growing on me.

I went from samson studio monitors to magnepans LRS to klipsch rp8000f 2 to finally ML ESL X and there’s no way I’m going back to a boxed speakerThe detail coming out of the speakers is about 15-20% more than the klipschs

Purchased these after a few years of listening and paying attention to floor speakers from different brands. I noticed the speakers from other brands started to deteriorate but not these. The sound has a great range like the music I listen to. The speakers are also capable of making multiple notes at high volume without errors. Normal cone speakers have a problem keeping up with electronic music. The only down fall is it might be a bit cold and if you want deep lows you might want to add a sub. These speakers will fill the room as sound not only comes from the front but also the back. Almost the perfect speakers without the huge foot print

They sounded good right away, but I didn’t stress them much during the first week. They sound great now. What a joy!
