Hasn't worked
I first used ear mite medication from Walmart which didn't work for my three cats, I then tried Castrol oil for 3 weeks twice a day and that didn't work either. I then decided to try this. And it's been over two weeks of only giving my cats this 1 drop for every two pounds, 10 drops max, and giving twice a week max. And doing deep ear cleanings, plus cleaning there room everyday. Yes they all have ear mites, there is severe coffee ground build up in all three cats ears. I called a vet and they said oh ear mites strictly only live in the ears. Oh really? Then why does my cat have scabs all over there heads, neck, and chin? I've herd other people that are unable to get rid of ear mites in there pets even after trying every ear mite medication to be known! They need to start prescribing internal medication for ear mites! My cats have had fleas before 4 years ago and it was easier to get rid of then these! I'm so lost because my local ver prescribes this same medication ! What they are teaching vets about ear mites is clearly wrong! This stuff will help there be less mites. But don't be surprised when they aren't gone

Itchy ears Unrelieved
We tried this on our cat. His ears were super itchy with what we thought were mites. It turned out to be an ear infection. It’s not a bad product, just not what we needed.

works, but probs still go to a vet
STORY TIME: i had two kitties who were perfectly healthy. i found a lil sweetie pie sad and alone at a gas station on the side of a highway trying to get peoples attention and i just had to take her home. she had ear mites REALLY BAD. oh the coffee grounds! i kept her separate from the other two but that didn’t really stop everyone from catching the ear mites anyway lol. i wasn’t trying to do three vet appointments (the thought of all that money down the drain OOF), so i did some research and chose these ear drops as many said this is what some vets prescribe and of all the over the counter ear mite drops on amazon, these have the highest percentage of the active ingredient.let’s pause for a moment. i read some reviews here that said they were using qtips and putting the drops in twice a day and all kinds of nonsense. the instructions very clearly say twice a week in each ear only. no qtips cuz you’re likely to cause damage. and remember, these are pesticides you’re putting in their ears. even if it’s a lot of ear mites so bad like my new kitten had, the chemical is strong enough to knock the mites out without you overdosing and potentially harming your pet. trust the process.anyway, i followed the instructions. i administered the ear drops (estimated amount though; they really didn’t like it. i had to wrap them in a towel so they couldn’t scratch me lol) and i did it twice a week for two weeks. the coffee grounds in the new kitties ear went significantly down, but she was still scratching and shaking her head. the other two had no coffee grounds whatsoever, but they were scratching still too. i was concerned that the drops maybe helped but didn’t get rid of all the mites. the instructions for the drops say that after two weeks if their symptoms aren’t gone take them to the vet. UGHmy original two were late on vaccines anyway so i decided to take them, and then whatever they prescribed for them id give to the third as well lol. turns out NO MITES. at all. but apparently after ear mites it’s very common for pets to then get ear infections. so they gave me a cleaner and some other ear drops to kill the bacteria and explained that if id continued to give them the ear mite drops id have been exacerbating the ear infections.SO. here’s the point: these drops work great. i highly recommend them. when you follow the instructions correctly it gets rid of the ear mites within two weeks, saving you money and a trip to the vet. BUT if you see them still scratching afterward, don’t assume that it didn’t work like i almost did. again, apparently post-ear mite infections are very common so go to the vet and they’ll give you antibiotic ear drops that’ll take care of it.hope this helps :)

Great for my cat
I came across this while searching for something to I use on my cat in between vet visits. When I got her she was infested with ear mites and it took 2 vet visits to get rid of them. Now I keep this in hand and use it the loosen anything up in her ears and clean them out. She loves to lay in the dirt and I love having this on hand. Just in case.

Treat all animals and fumigate house!
PLEASE READ WHOLE STORY: I adopted a 5 month old cat 4 weeks ago (Bond). He had the worse ear mite infestation I have ever seen and I have had cats on and off my entire life. I had him about 3 days before I noticed all the black gunk in his ear and the constant scratching at and under his ears. I started to research and tried olive oil, for a couple days then I bought the kill on contact stuff from Petco and Amazon. He was still scratching every now and then so after 7 days I took him to the vet. I turns out I had killed the mites but he also had a yeast infection which was likely caused by the mite excrement. So they prescribed drops for 10 days. No scratching for almost 10 days and his ears are completely clean. Now the rest of the story: I had no animals in my house for 18 months prior to my new cat. I started waking up around 12:30 or 1 am (at least 2 dyas a week) with my scalp crawling and feeling little bites around neck, chest, legs, arms. I know for a fact that those "ear" mites were on my pillow and other places that I sit or sleep. They have layed eggs everywhere and they have started to migrate back to my cats ears. I have felt them in my own ears but they do not stay long. This is why they say to treat for 23+ days however that will not work. I will be bug fumigating my house this weekend . Cat ear mites are no joke they are worse than fleas and I would compare them to bed bugs. They do not just hang around in your animals ears. They are always looking for more cat or dog ears to infest, this means they get around real good on on people. This is why one will want to treat all ones animals however one will also need to plan a day where he/she leaves the house for 8 hours and sets bug bomb fumigators. If your skin is crawling or you feel little bites you are not crazy, it could be your animals ear mites.
