I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor. This hammock is very sturdy. The leg base is nice and keeps the hammock in place, no slipping. There is plenty of room for 1 person and 2 dogs (who love this hammock as much as I do). The weight limit is 500 so I guess 2 people could fit on this hammock. The top end of the hammock is higher than the foot, which makes for a very comfortable nap (on your side or back) or reading. When you get on you need to sit toward the middle vs the side as you may slip off. The fabric part of the hammock repels water which is nice since my hammock stays up until the winter. Assembly of this item was very easy. I would highly recommend this hammock. It is much sturdier and heavier than I thought.

It was very easy to assemble, and it is very comfortable and sturdy. However, it is not water resistant. After one day of rain, water first sat on top of the hammock without absorbing, but in the morning it had soaked all the way through. 3 days later, having constant sun when available, It has not dried out on its own. Aside from the water, it is very comfortable and I love it

Love the color (army green) and it was so easy to put together. Very sturdy and comfortable. I bought a cover for it because it will sit out on a covered patio but the sun is so harsh here in the Midwest. Am looking forward to many hours of relaxation and reading on it loving the fact that it is like a bed. The price is not to be believed!

It took me only about 20 min to put it together. The instructions were fairly clear. Now that I know how to do it- it would be probably 6min to assemble and quite intuitive. It is super comfortable and I'm really enjoying it. The feet could be made of better material like a rubber coating over the plastic. It is a bit wobbly but it is still sturdy and once your body weight is in it there is no wobble at all. I am planning on getting more. My roommate is also getting one. It would be great if there were a wider range of colors.

I love this thing! It's very sturdy, comfortable and reasonably compact. It was a breeze to assemble. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews. "It's not waterproof". Well it's canvas, so of course the fabric will break down if you leave it out in the sun and the rain. I also noted what one reviewer said about hyperextension, but this is easily remedied by positioning yourself on the diagonal, or just using a blanket. I've spent many nights on the porch, falling asleep to the sound of the crickets and the wind in the trees.

Okay. So set up wasn’t the worst but it definitely could have been a little bit easier had the pieces been labeled. That issue isn’t a deal breaker though, and after set up I sat in the hammock and was happy.No, it’s not the most comfortable, but it allowed for me to finally lay out in the nice weather enjoying the nature around me which is why I got it.I also got it because it claimed to be waterproof and spring time in the Midwest is a rainy time of year.Unfortunately, this thing is barely even water resistant let alone water proof. Even worse than that, it takes days (if not longer because now we are on day two and it’s still not dry) to dry out after a rainfall.The pad is basically a sponge and the area that the water pooled in was soaking wet over 24 hours after a rainfall even while sitting in the direct sunlight all day.Because of this, I am not happy with my purchase and over all just bummed that I finally got a hammock after years of wanting one to only be able to use it if I don’t mind a soggy bottom.
