Although this is a good quality cooler the aerator is not so great. The bracket to hold it on on broke first trip out in colder weather and the aerator is choppy and loud. For the price I'm happier with my fra bill.

Love this bait cooler it replaced my Frabill. My Frabill was leaking water into my car causing a fishing smell. Engel has a solid seal , no leaks. Car no longer will be smelling like a fish store .

Got this for my husband’s birthday and he loves it. The cooler kept his shrimp fresh and it was easy to clean.

I have been using this bait aerator since October 2022 - it is hands down the best aerator I have ever used on weekend fishing trips ! For those who grow weary of buying standard D batteries to keep it fresh - you can in fact use rechargeable D batteries and it will run just fine. I ran the experiment (Okay - it's an N=1). I purchased an EBL battery recharger and 1.2 V EBL D batteries ... and the aerator ran continuously for 72 hours with no obvious change in aeration on a single charge - with approximately 1/2 charge left in the batteries. Work with the environment - buy a rechargeable unit and D batteries (or buy the more expensive rechargeable aerator now sold separately by Engel).

I’ve used this cooler for bait 2 times now and so far, it’s incredible. I got it for my kayak, but it’s great for in shore fishing. I got the smallest one they sell and it’s perfect to carry around bait anywhere your heart desires.Bought shrimp both times when I went out to fish and I have yet to see a shrimp die on me.In terms of durability, it’s has pretty sturdy construction. I sat on it a few times and it seems like it’ll last me a long time.ONLY DOWN SIDE: DC adapter for the cigarette lighter didn’t work, but I have another one coming. Costomer service acted quick from ENGEL.Great bait cool. Recommend for every fisherman out there.
