Q: what size battery do you use?

We typically recommend using a CR2032 battery, although the stickers can work with any power source from 3-5V.

Q: What size is each one of those lights?

The stickers are triangular with 0.4 in (10 mm) from point to base and 0.45in (11 mm) wide at the base. They're a bit smaller than a dime. The actual LED on the sticker is approximately 1mm x 1mm. Q: How do you turn them on?

These lights work by adding them to a circuit. This is done with copper wire and a cell battery. The light stickers have a + and - indicator on them so you know which side of the battery to attach them to using the copper wire.

Q: Are these waterproof?

While the LED stickers themselves are waterproof, when they're connected in a working circuit, the whole circuit is no longer waterproof. If water touches the circuit when the circuit is running, it may cause a short circuit which will drain the battery and cause the lights to turn off. One idea is that if you can build the circuit while it's dry and then put the whole thing in a waterproof container, to prevent water from ever contacting the circuit itself, then you may be able to try putting them in watery environments.
