Are there pedal conversion kits available for this bike?

I’m guessing not. There’s no gear on the rear wheel for a chain or a way to install pedals. It is strictly a balance bike but a much better way to learn balance than with training wheels.

What is the age or height range for this balance bike? I have a 5-year-old boy.

You could measure your child's inseam in order to determine if this bike will be the correct size for him. The lowest the seat will measure is 16 inches from the ground and 23 inches is the tallest.
