Best Fuel Can on the Market
Outstanding fuel can. Simple, rugged, safe and it works. I like the built in nozzle and spout screen. Highly recommend.

Like the old days when things just worked!
LIke others have said...can't believe I'm leaving a review for a gas can, but....if you are like me and have been dealing with plastic cans over the years then this is a huge upgrade. Did I pay $15 dollars more for this 2 gallon metal can than I did for my last 1 gallon plastic can? Yes. Is it 10x better? Yes.Here's the deal. The handle that operates the cap is indeed plastic. But it's bulk and construction is more than adequate for it's intended purpose. I suppose if you dropped a bowling ball or a heavy box on it, it could break. But otherwise it's fine. The rest is solid metal construction, including the pin that fixes the plastic handle to the cap.The funnel works just fine but could easily be omitted in favor of a stand alone funnel if you want. For my needs, filling my lawn mower, it works just fine. Takes about 5 seconds to remove or install. Just make sure you press it down all the way to the can so the lid closes properly. Some complain it does not have an air intake for smooth dumping of fuel. This is true. For my needs it's not an issue. Simply lift can, insert funnel into mower, then lightly lift the cap with the handle. Close handle before tipping back upright and there is no residual fuel to leak back around the funnel connection area to the cap.Now if you need to dump the entire contents quickly into something like a dirt bike, I would simply drill a 1/'4'' hole in the top and plug it with a rubber grommet/cap you can source from Ace Hardware or wherever. That way you could remove the cap and dump the entire contents without issue.Love it. It's too bad I am so excited about a simple can. It's really just a throwback to the way they used to be made for generations, but with a compliant funnel and self closing lid.Buy it! Dump the plastic can.

Very safe and pretty much indestructible
These are a little expensive, but they're worth it, since they last pretty much forever. I have an Eagle can my dad bought in the 70's that I'm still using. The can is a pretty heavy gauge steel, galvanized and powder coated for a nice finish. The best part is the spout. There's a steel screen in the neck of this can that prevents a flame front from reaching the gas inside the can and causing an explosion. The lid springs closed very tightly, and has a rubber seal. This is especially important for fuels containing ethanol, which likes to absorb atmospheric moisture. I've never had one of these cans spill, and I've never had any gas stored in one contaminated. These are definitely your best option for storing gas or other flammable liquids. In comparison to a plastic can, these are infinitely superior. I've had to throw out several gallons of gas stored in the newer plastic cans, all because the poorly designed 'environmentally friendly' spouts leak, and let a bunch of water, dirt, and even bugs in. That's the kind of thing you don't really notice until your lawn mower quits running and you have to dismantle the carburetor to clean out all the dead spiders. A good gas can like this pretty much pays for itself that way.

Best
Best fuel fan I have used to date. Very high quality, doesn’t expand, pours great, doesn’t tip over, super easy to fill. Made in USA.

Great fuel can. Don’t like the funnel design in use.
The can is great, what I expected, and hoped for. Kind of expensive, but I did not want a plastic jug for my use. Seems safe. The spring on cap closure is strong. Works well. However, I don’t like the FUNNEL design and should have ordered without it. It’s too hard to get on and off every time. If you leave it on, it gets in the way for storage. There is no attachment, clip, or anywhere to store a disconnected funnel with the can otherwise. I thought it was a good idea for an integrated funnel, but just not functional for me. I don’t see this ahead of time. I will use funnel as an expensive standalone funnel. Otherwise, I recommend the tank.

New tractor equipment.
No leaks and quick receipt. I love this style of gas can. Easy to use and fill up. New tractor that needed the diesel cans.

Funnel Work Around
This gas can is a tank and will last for a long time if properly cared for. Good-bye to plastic cans that cave and the nozzle never works. Regarding the funnel and the extreme difficulty in getting it on the can and off the can to fill. I heated a large pan of water on the stove to boil then I placed the nozzle base (part that fits on your can) into the water for 20 seconds +. This heats, without distorting or melting, the nozzle/funnel to the point it will slide on the can all the way to the base effortlessly. No fight at all. Then for filling I cut a 1 1/2 inch hole on the top side proportionate to how a gas nozzle would fit using a hole saw kit to allow for quick and easy access to fill the can. All problems solved.
