What size would be good for a 12 week old (ultimately medium sized) golden doodle puppy? Also, would this be too challenging for a pup that young?

I'm not sure. It depends on if your dog is a big size puppy or smaller. I bought this in medium for my full grown beagle and it fit perfectly. There is a size chart and you can measure your dog and then pick the size that fits best. That's what I did. Hope this helps

Cute, but…..

Very cute, but size up. I went with small based on other reviews to go off leg length and this small was tiny for my mini weins. Still very cut but very uncomfortable and barely fit around them.Also the box is crap, it looks better in a photo or video than in person and takes a bit of crafting to put it together.It was cheap, and cute so I didn’t have high expectations, but if you are looking for similar quality to costumes you would find in pet store, these won’t be it.

Not as expected

Size is not accurate.Maltese and york shire can’t walk wearing this because size S is too big for them.Also, the “fat belly” makes the costume heavy and it disturb the dogs walking.
