From security and surveillance fundamentals to intrusion detection and remote access protection, this book covers the necessary pillars to build an effective defense against cyber threats.I give it a well-deserved 5 stars because, in my opinion and with 20 years of experience in the digital world, it stands out for its clarity, the excellent use of grammar, and the effectiveness of quizzes to test knowledge. Although having some background knowledge is beneficial to fully appreciate the book, its well-written structure and practical exercises make "Cybersecurity Essentials" an indispensable tool for those who wish to enter or advance in the field of cybersecurity.

Need some background knowledge to fully appreciate this book. Well written, excellent use of grammar and testing of knowledge with quizzes.

I received a used copy of the book. I want to return it but the book is just too good to learn from.
