Mt. Angel Vitamins - Hydrochloric Acid Betaine, Supports Healthy Digestion & Gastric Juices (100 Vegetarian Chlorocaps)

This product does exactly what it indicates. It makes my stomach feel better when taken with a meal.Be careful with it if you take it when your stomach is not full and have some high PH water (8.5 - 10ph) handy to sip on in case you overdo it.

Thankful this is meeting the need I didn't even know I had till the ND told me I need it.

This is my go-to for HCL for the last year or so. I’ve tried several products and this one seems to be the most effective. I would like to give 5 stars, however, this is the second time I’ve ordered from this company and the pills are dried out and the white powder has leaked throughout the container. I contacted Mt Angel vitamins directly last time and a representative assured me they were still ok to use. I found them to still be effective despite being brittle and leaking powder. I’m not sure where along the road to my door that they aren’t being stored properly, but it is messy and inconvenient. I had no problems with them until the last couple months.

Third class quality product

I have used this brand for years and I really like it. BUT literally from one month to another they doubled the price. Sadly I can no longer afford it. I am sad :-( If you can afford it, it is a very good brand but I now need to shop elsewhere. Goodby Mt. Angel, it was good while it lasted.

I have pretty severe digestive issues due to having Lymes disease. I have had good results so far with the Betaine tablets. They are vegetarian and easy to take. I have noticed a difference in how my gut feels after taking them, and so far so good. I've taken probiotics in the past that really only helped a little.
