Worth the money.
Worked great. Requires a lot of water (gallon at least). You will be wet. I used this today (98 degrees according to the Harley) and no problems. It stayed cool until it was dry (about two hours) then it was a hot. I wet the vest at a convenience store and it went right back to cool. Here again, a bottle of water will not be enough water, it takes at least a gallon to activate the vest and you will be wet (but cool).Feels well made, not cheap. Zipper is nice and large (plastic) and did not hang up or stick. The back comes down off the neck which is ok with me but it does not cool the neck - upper back and below. No interference with my helmet. The front is open to mid-chest allowing some air flow down the front after the vest dries (positive) and the sides are open except for an elastic band (no cooling material on the side) but I did see this as a positive once the vest dries. The vest did not flap in the wind, it stays put and somewhat rigid when wet. After the vest dries it floats around a little but not to the point of a problem.Vest weight is around two lbs dry, water is 8.2 lbs per gallon so the vest starts out heavy and gets lighter as it dries.Size seems right, no bunching or gathering, bottom landed right in my lap as I sat on the bike. Kept my core covered and cool, front and back. Remember, everywhere this touches will be wet, so pants and shirt will be a little more than damp.

Has it's limitations. But so worth it!
This was one of my most prized items this summer when temps soared above 100º on my IDBDR motorcycle trip. That being said, once the temps get above that mark this vest struggles. It still works and you will be glad to have it but let's be realistic. Temps above 100º are extreme. Still, I made sure I had this soaked and ready to wear because without it, I was miserable on my adventure bike in the Southern Idaho and northern Nevada desert. The vest works by evaporative cooling. Soak it and as the water evaporates out of the vest it makes the temps drop about 8-10º near your skin. I even soaked it in a river next to the trail to charge it back up a couple of times. It works. But it's no miracle. I would recommend this vest to adventure bikers who will be in temps above 90º. I caution, it adds weight but it's distributed around your upper body. You will feel it in your knees over time. I washed it in the wash machine when I got home (it was a little stinky) and hung it to dry. It's just like new.

It is sort of a surprise
I bought this vest because of our Texas summer heat. I was a bit skeptical but it has been so hot my motorcycle riding has only been real early or later in the afternoon. I also thought it would be like wearing a wet blanket. But used as directed the vest my triple in weight but only feels damp. But as long as you are moving or there is a breeze you feel cooler.I don’t know just how long it works before having to get the vest wet again but it is at least good for an hour or two. Years ago I would stop at a gas station, use the water hose, and Jose my head and upper body down to the belt line. With regular clothes on I would be bone dry in 20 minutes. I have used this vest for about an hour straight and it was still cooling me. In the house it took the rest of the day to dry off.I wouldn’t wear it over my wallet or cell phone however.

Works great!
Great price for the quality! It has web design so that each pocket of cooling material is isolated instead of one big lump. I'm really glad I got it

Feels slimy
This jacket works too keep you cool by evaporation. It holds a fair amount of cool water, which will end up dampening your clothes as well. In addition, once it's wet, the surface has a slimy feel which made me keep wanting to wipe my hands off.If you don't mind the feeling of slime or wet clothes, this jacket will work fine for you.

Not for Florida
I like that it stays cold for about 20 minutes after you leave the house. If you’re in and out out It takes the AC with you. Problem I’m having is it will not evaporate in Florida humidity. So it’s great for running quick errands but if you need to wear it for more than a half hour in humidity it just feels like a big wet towel.
