This is a really great buy for me. I love the wood for it's beauty but mostly for it's durability.

Love the look of my wooden toilet seat. Fits well and it was great value for the money. I wish it had a soft clothes on it, but it does not.

I think I mistakenly ordered this toilet seat, so I was surprised to receive a non-black, non-enamel finished seat--but that's not the fault of the seat. I desperately needed a new toilet seat, so I decided to keep it, because it actually does look pretty nice. I think the grain of the wood is inconsistent and not what I would choose if I could see it in advance.Once it was installed, I quickly realized it would have to be a temporary seat until I could find the right one.I have two concerns about it. Three, if you count not being able to tighten it quite enough to prevent movement. It feels insubstantial. Light weight, like if someone flopped down too hard, it might snap the seat in half! There are only two bumpers (?) on the seat itself. But the main issue is that it feels like the wood grain is open. Not like you can get splinters from, but not smooth like you want bathroom fixtures to be. As in, easy to clean. I don't think this seat will be easy to keep clean, at all.I did find the perfect seat, and it is already installed and, well, perfect. But this wooden seat is okay enough that I'm moving it to an infrequently used bathroom.

Great fit and a definite value for the money. Easy to clean and comfortable. While the chrome plating does peel after a couple of year it functions as it should.

I've had this seat for 4 months and the bumper pads are broken, and one of the screws to hold seat on will not tighten. Now I have to use replacements, which are white, and cheapen the look. Disappointed.

I was SO tired of buying seats that broke in the back. Everything in the stores is plastic nowadays 😒. I was glad to see a wooden seat with metal hinges here on Amazon! Very easy to install and really sturdy! Love the dark walnut color. It really looks nice in my bathroom. This seat is going to last you and is worth every penny!
