I purchased the color Java/Slate. The color I received look different than what I thought they would be. They have more of a light blue look... a very muted turquoise blue. I decided to keep them because the color is pleasant and I love the large size and the texture. They have dimpled, dents, slight depressions in these mugs which appeal to me. The handles have no dimples and are easy to hold. No cracks or chips upon arrival. I would have given 5 stars if the color matched better to what I was viewing when I placed my order.

These are gorgeous! we bought them for a gift and liked them so much we kept them and bought another set. Great neutral color and a beautiful finish. Do great in the dishwasher and microwave.

I liked the look and size, and that they came in pairs and were affordable.I have a little guilt for not supporting my local economy- I live in an area where there are plenty of potters. But these were so cute, and exactly what I wanted…it was too easy!For a rustic, understated farm-elegance in stoneware/ceramic mugs, these can’t be beat.
