Exactly what I needed
Could not find them in a hardware store but had them next day and solid part, easy installation.

Works over a 4" PVC pipe
After reading the Q&A's and some reviews I decided to roll the dice as Lowes and HD only had plumbers tape to secure my radon mitigation piping. I used 4" PVC with elbows and couplers to make my stack. The outside diameter of the PVC is 4.5", so while these straps will encircle the pipe there will be a bit of a gap to contend with. I used long deck screws and tried to leave an equal spacing on each side (about an inch). The straps come with a set of 2" stainless screws, but I wanted something a bit longer going into the siding. They look a lot better than plumbers tape for sure!

A tight fit, but it worked for me
I'm using sewer and drain pipe for a workshop dust collection system. These clamps fit around the pipe, but just barely.

C'mon man. Why say it's for dryer vents when it doesn't fit around a dry vent without crushing it to fit. Whatever. You got me.

Sizing issues
Someone in this outfit need to buy a tape measure. There is NOTHING ABOUT THIS PIECE MADE FOR 4 INCH PIPE. I used these (after some tweaks) to hang 4" S&D pvc pipe (which is the THINNEST pipe made), yet the clamps had to be reshaped to clear the pipe. Out of the box, the inner width is about 3-1/2" and only about 3-3/4" total depth. To use these, I had to cut some 2x2 wood blocks with some crescent shaped cuts in them for clearance. That process, plus using some longer screws allowed my to mount up the pipe. The finished product was fine, but the extra work should have been unnecessary.Typical stuff nowadays: false descriptions on chintzy products, made in CHINA, because the US companies are too focused on profit over quality. If other alternatives were available, I would return these, but other "4 inch" products are similarly sized wrong.
