X-Tube Heat Shrink Wrap Tubing 39"&64" Lengths for Rod Grips-5 Color 14 Sizes

I was standing in the master bath using the wife’s hairdryer. The smaller upper handle went well, but took some time. As i started on the longer lower handle i could tell this was going to take a while. I started thinking, heat is heat. Wouldn’t dunking this in hot water work faster? Okay, the water getting under the wrap would be a problem, but you could maybe put the rod butt in a plastic garbage bag maybe? Okay, now i just need a large gale of hot water. I just happened to be brewing beer and had a large kettle boiling in the garage. I got a tall kitchen garbage bag, covered the rod butt, submerged it in boiling wort for short 20 seconds and it was done. It even tightened up at the cut ends. The scary part is, I still got brains i ain’t even used yet.

I wanted to have some more grip and these heat shrink based covers work great for my purpose and come in many sizes.

Works as supposed to. Great grip and easy to put on. Just make sure you use a heat gun

I have this on my other fishing poles, love it

The product is awesome, very versatile and strong, not slimy after bloody fish hands, washes off easily. The problem is how the "mm" is measured. I'd think around seeing how it fits around the fish pole. I used the mm to inches conversion chart to decide which size I needed but the product was way bigger.

I had apply these on to handles of my fishrods, they look and feesl better then the ones you have to over lap and wrap around the handles. Downside is they only have basic colors like red, yellow and blue wish there was more variety of colors and patterns.

I had planned to apply this to the shaft of a cane so that it would lean against a wall or furniture without falling down. It doesn't seem to be non-slip enough for that application.
