Amazing!
I use this in my Bath Salts, Shampoo Bars and Cold Process Soaps... It is incredible! Adds super moisturizing qualities to all my formulations without the astronomical high price cosmetic ingredient suppliers charge for the same thing. Will purchase this product agin and again... it is wonderful.

Helps to moisturize my hair when doing Indigo as part of Henna hair dye
Makes hair less dried out. Add a tablespoon to mixture. Henna is moisturizing, but the second step Indigo to get brown color is super drying and this helps.

True to description, water soluble and great addition to DIY skin and hair care
Good value for the price. And it is a good addition to my hair care DIY drills and creams. I haven't used it in my skin care yet, but I'm sure that it would work perfectly.

Completely dissolves in water or water-based products
This inner gel powder is very high quality and makes a great addition to other ingredients or can be used alone to add sotness and moisture for hair or skin

Took A Few Minutes To Dissolve
This aloe vera gel powder is a 200 strength which means to reconstitute it with 0.5% powder and 95.5% water (distilled is best) so the 8 ounce bag will make a LOT of aloe vera gel!I put about two tablespoons in a bowl and mixed it with just enough water to make a thick gel. I didn't follow the normal ratio because I wanted to get the benefits of aloe vera in my melt-and-pour soap without diluting the base with a lot of water. I stirred for awhile (but it wasn't a smooth gel yet) and then left it to sit for a few minutes and then found it was fully dissolved, even at that strength.Added it to my melted soap base and stirred it in carefully before pouring into the molds. I waited a couple of days to let the soap really harden up since it's summer and the air is more humid than it would be in winter with the heater running 24/7. The soap was extra nice! Lots of bubbles still and yet it seems less drying. This was fun!A product of India, the package says it is for external use only. This isn't something to mix with water and drink! Great for toiletries though! Next I'm going to experiment with adding some to shampoo. I will mix it with water first to make sure it's dissolved completely and then add a bit to a small amount of shampoo and see how that works before trying it on a full bottle.

Information and Directions Would Be Nice
Although using this is a no brainer, some information and usage on package would have been nice. Similar to this of other brands had at least directions of amount to water to use, another had usage ideas and recipes. The ingredients in product listing states it has maltodextrin in it and that is a sweetener. My powder is white, and it did dissolve in water and is a clear gel, is this the natural color or bleached.? Vague information and store to visit product page. Using in soaps and lotions that found recipes for. Pleasant scent of aloe vera when package opened. 2-year shelf life. Comparable in price, quality and quantity of similar brands.
