I had been struggling with BV and not smelling fresh downstairs. I ordered this and it worked after only using one suppository. Odor has stopped and it’s been 10 days so far and has not returned. I will say as others have mentioned, after using there is a burnt rubber/chemical smell for about two days after use. You can smell it through your clothes. But after two days the burnt smell was gone and left with nothing but freshness.

So far, I’ve only experienced mild cramping, which is manageable. The side effects are minor, and I would recommend this product.However, I have noticed that the price has increased since my last purchase. Still, I believe it offers good value at the original price. This product is effective for both mild and severe cases; however, I encourage you to consult with your gynecologist to ensure there is minimal irritation to your cervix.Be prepared to wear a panty liner for the first two days, as the suppository will dissolve and help remove anything that needs to be expelled. I can confidently say that this product works well, but it needs to be used continuously for at least five days, especially for moderate to severe cases, particularly if your body has become resistant to over-the-counter antibiotics.Recurring yeast infections can be very frustrating, but I recommend this product to anyone struggling with them. for years I was having issues with BV after intercourse and had to do frequent treatments now whenever I have sex, I put in a pill afterwards and I have not gotten BV in months by doing this. My doctor gave me antibiotics for a respiratory infection. To prevent any issues from taking a strong antibiotic, I decided to take an oral probiotic and use these suppositories.The smell of the capsules is terrible. They smell burnt. I thought it was the ingredients used inside the capsules, but it’s the capsule itself. I wet my hand, touched the capsule, and then I couldn’t get the burnt smell off of my fingers after washing my hands 3 times.I bought 3 boxes to take advantage of a promo code. I had purchased them before, a little over a year ago, also from Amazon, and they were fine back then. I had no reason to think that I would have any issue with these, but all 3 boxes are the same. What a waste of $50. I will contact the manufacturer to see if this is normal.I don't know if it was a change in the formula for the capsules, or if this is a bad batch. I checked other reviews to see if others had the problem and if you look at the one star reviews, several talk about a burnt smell.Hopefully I'll be able to get some information from the manufacturer to share.Update: although all three of my boxes were affected by the horrible burnt smell, and despite other reviewers having the same experience that I had, the manufacturer replied that my experience was, "highly unusual," and told me to contact Amazon to ask for a refund. I'm guessing that this in a non-refundable type of item, I didn't try to contact Amazon.I have recommended these products to people for a couple of years, but being as how they don't seem to acknowledge issues with a product that you put into your body, I'm very hesitant to buy it again or recommend to others.
