Complete with an on/off button this replacement Heart takes 2 AAA alkaline batteries, and can last up to 2 weeks with continuous 24/7 use. Steps for activation: 1. Remove the plastic tab to activate the enclosed batteries 2. Press the button once to turn on the heartbeat for 8 hours 3. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to turn on the heartbeat for 24-hour continuous use where your Snuggle Puppy pulsing heartbeat will operate in 24/7 run mode for about two weeks before needing to replace the batteries 4. Place the heartbeat into the Velcro pocket on the underside of the Snuggle Puppy product 5. Simply hold the button on the heart again for 3-5 seconds to turn the heartbeat off 6. To replace the batteries, simply remove the plastic cover and replace the two "AAA” batteries. Please dispose of the "used" batteries responsibly. Also, don't forget to remove the heartbeat prior to washing your Snuggle Puppy product!
