16 months into ownership and just bought a second larger version.
I bought the YTX7L-BS for a small HF 3500 Inverter generator and it was a perfect fit.The original SLA battery lasted less than a year and required a float charger. This one has been in service for 16 months. In that time I have started and run the generator twice. I have checked it about 10 times.Engaged the starter to turn over the engine and pressed the button on top to read to voltage.Reading 12.8 to 13v each time. Every time it has worked perfectly and I have only charged it twice.I topped it off when new, and three month or so into use.The charger turned off in five minutes so I decided that wouldn't be needed much.I have nothing bad to say.I have just ordered the YTX30L-BS for my riding mower as it's little brother has been so trouble free.

Doesn't hold charge and not suitable for motorcycles
CCA seems to be strong and possibly as advertised BUTTTT!!! THERE IS NO DISCHARGE PROTECTION AS ADVERTISED.This battery was stone dead, beyond what my battery charger could even recharge and just showed an error message when was connected.I returned it immediately.

Lightweight Powerhouse
I've been changing batteries in autos, trucks and motorcycles since I was 10 years old. Honestly, this feels like an empty display for a battery. After having a lithium powered drill for a few years, I replaced eight lead acid batteries in my golf cart with two lithium units. When my 600RR needed a new battery, I decided to try a lithium in it. Weight wise, it couldn't possibly do the job. But man, does it ever spin the motor over. No issues with charging, or cranking, even after sitting for weeks. Dropped right in with the included spacer. Absolute great bang for the buck.

You need a LIFEPO capable battery charger to Fully charge!!!
You need a LIFEPO capable battery charger to Fully charge!!! It may charge with some 12V battery chargers or alternators. But most of LIFEPO batteries get to full charge at above 13V. I have such chargers but some may not. So if seems to not work after charging, you likely lack a LIFEPO charger!

Enough for a 25HP diesel tractor
Arizona is where car batteries go to die. Lead acid car batteries here last about 2 years and AGM's marginally longer. When the OEM battery on the tractor died I decided to give this one a shot. It exceeded the CCA of the OEM and is exponentially smaller and lighter than the one it replaced. It cranks the high compression diesel motor without fail and yes I've lit the glow plugs in cold weather for 15 seconds several times and then started the motor. I am hoping this will last more than the lead acid counterpart. I have also purchased two more previously that start generators. They all perform above and beyond. Great product so far.

Seems to be powerful
While I can't verify the claimed CCA of 450Amps, it does seem to have a lot of kick. I used this to replace my battery on my Westinghouse 7500 watt generator. It took some modifications to the generator's mounting box, but, after doing so, the battery fits tight and provided vastly superior starting power to the generator.I also purchased a "Genius" trickle charger to keep the battery at full capacity and ready to go when needed. That has a setting for the Lithium batteries.Just now tested it's starting power in the cold (about 19 degrees here in Michigan January 15th) having ben stored in a somewhat warmer garage. It did well starting the generator after about a month of sitting on the maintenance charger. The battery arrived about 95% charged. While not an inexpensive battery, I wanted something reliable as the OEM lead acid battery that came with the generator never really cut it and I always needed a jump assist with some starting fluid. No starting fluid required anymore.... ;-)

Don’t waste your money.
Don’t waste your money on this battery. I purchased this battery to replace my old lead battery on my motorcycle that has lasted for 4 years. After installing the battery it cranked the bike perfectly for the first couple weeks. I let the bike sit for 6-8 days without riding it. Went out to crank it an nothing, the headlight wouldn’t even come on. Took the battery out to charge it “with a charger designed for lithium batteries” an it won’t even charge up. Went to the parts store an bought an old traditional lead battery an the bike fired right up. Of course the “return window” closed a month after I received the battery so there’s no getting my $115 back for the junk lithium battery. I guess it’s just a hard lesson learned. Bottom line, if you’re going to go with lithium buy a good name brand from a company that stands behind there product. NOT this junk.
